Who We Are
Cole Hartwell is the co-founder of Get Out Mor and has spent more than two decades hunting whitetail deer, wild hogs, and Eastern wild turkey across Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He grew up in a hunting family in rural Alabama, took his first buck at 12, and has been chasing alligators in Louisiana bayou country and Mississippi coastal marshes for over a decade. Cole leads the hunting and alligator content at Get Out Mor, writing from hundreds of days afield across the Gulf South. He holds hunting licenses in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Brooke Hartwell grew up fishing the back bays and tidal flats of the Florida Panhandle — targeting redfish and speckled trout out of Apalachicola and Pensacola before she could drive. She studied wildlife biology and has spent her career combining field experience with a deep understanding of fish behavior, habitat, and seasonal patterns. Brooke specializes in Florida inshore and Gulf Coast fishing — redfish, speckled trout, flounder, snook, and cobia — and leads the fishing content at Get Out Mor. She holds Florida saltwater fishing licenses covering inshore and nearshore species.
Together, Cole and Brooke build every recommendation from real time in the field and on the water, combined with thorough research into specs, value, and long-term owner feedback. Get Out Mor is written for regular folks chasing whitetails, largemouth, gators, turkeys, and weekends at the campsite — not for a marketing department.
